Who do you recommend for laser eye correction?
We will co-manage with all centers for laser eye correction. This includes surrounding areas as well as Hamilton. Consult with one of our doctors to help you determine whether this procedure is right for you.
Do I need a referral for an appointment?
We gladly welcome all patients without a referral. If you have certain conditions (such as glaucoma, cataracts, diabetes) your exam may be covered by OHIP.
If I am diabetic, do I need to see an ophthalmologist?
We have a very large diabetic patient population in our practice. We provide comprehensive ocular assessments, which include retinal digital images of the eye. If diabetic complications are discovered, we will make the appropriate referral.
